The White Sands Hotel with 88 sea facing rooms, housed in individually thatched villas, surround by lush tropical gardens and palm trees, stretching along 500m of private beach front, lying on the very shores of the Indian Ocean. RESTAURANT & BAR: Our Ruaha restaurant serves an Ala Carte menu prepared by our International chefs, selected from a blend of traditional Tanzanian, Oriental and Continental Cuisine. Our specialty includes European, Vegetarian and Eastern cuisine.The coffee shop operates from 7h00 till 22h00, situated next to the hotel swimming pool, serves a wide variety of light meals and snacks. Select from pizzas, baguettes with assorted fillings, fish cutlets, our famous roast chicken or spicy chicken wings. To name but a few dishes. Of course the coffee shop also serves cappuccinos, espressos and regular Tanzania coffee and tea. Round these off with delightful pastries.Should your stay coincidence with one of our fantastic Seafood barbeques, we can assure you of the freshest seafood and to be serenaded by our local band.
CONFERENCE FACILITIES:White Sands Hotel and Resort boasts one of the best conference facilities in Dar. We have the facilities and equipment to accommodate groups of all sizes, whether you need a small meeting or a major conference venue with numerous breakaway events, we can accommodate it all. Our five conference rooms are fully air conditioned with natural light and well appointed with necessary modern equipment. Our standard equipment include, Overhead Projectors, Slide Projectors, Direct Screen presentations, VHS & Playback facilities, Whiteboards and FlipCharts. Data projectors, computers, printers, cell-phones and other equipment are available on hire basis. Our efficient staff members are always willing to help and support you from the beginning to the end. The Gilman’s room can accommodate up to 200 people, Ace’s room can accommodate up to 150 people and the Kisiwa Banda which is situated on the beach front can accommodate up to 40 people. Available also are separate meeting rooms for up to 20 people and an executive boardroom for up to 15 people. The hotel’s pool area is one of the most prominent venues in town for staging dinner functions of up 300 people.
