Sheraton Hotel Tahiti French Polynesia

In 1960, the Hotel Tahiti opened its doors as the first Tahitian resort whose design was inspired by Polynesian culture, built on the very estate where Princess Takau Pomare made her home a century before.

Today, Tahiti’s legendary retreat is reborn. Newly rebuilt from the ground up and opened in July 1999, Sheraton Hotel Tahiti offers 200 guest rooms and suites, each decorated with authentic native materials and featuring views of a turquoise blue lagoon.

The property is also fully equipped with state-of-the-art facilities for business travelers and meeting attendees.

ACCOMMODATION: Situated on a natural, turquoise-blue lagoon, The Sheraton Hotel Tahiti offers 190 guest rooms and 10 suites. Our gracious suites include a large bedroom, a spacious living room and a sweeping view over the lagoon that can be enjoyed on two separate balconies.  Precious woods from the Pacific region are used in the décor, and the walls are adorned with original paintings by popular contemporary Polynesian artists.

Here, rooms offer glittering lagoon views, private terraces, air-conditioning, voicemail, personal safes and computer data ports.  You can also choose between rooms overlooking the luxuriant gardens of the hotel or the Pacific Ocean with the island of Moorea rising in the near distance.

For families, Sheraton Hotel Tahiti offers a number of adjoining rooms, some of which feature a convertible bed.  Non-smoking rooms are also available, as well as rooms equipped especially for the disabled.

Sheraton Hotel Tahiti - Restaurant

DINING & INTERTAINMENT: From innovative preparations of fresh seafood, to casual alfresco dining under the stars, we invite you to savor the sensations of Chef Andre Smaniotto in our unique restaurants and lounges.

The Moevai - "The Moevai" is the main restaurant of Sheraton Hotel Tahiti.  Built over the resort's lagoon, its name, quite appropriately, means, “Quiet Water” and the menu specializes in fresh seafood.  The décor creatively celebrates the island environment as does its menu, with both island and international cuisine offered.

On Fridays the restaurant is the fitting backdrop for the hotel's weekly Polynesian show.  Live music can be enjoyed nightly and guests are invited to dance to the island rhythms.

Hours of Operation:
6:00am to 10:30am for Breakfast
12:00pm to 2:00pm for Lunch
6:30pm to 10:00pm for Dinner

Heepuemui - Located close to the horizon swimming-pool and lagoon, the hotel's open air terrace restaurant, “Heepuemui” or “to sit under a cloudless sky," serves lunch, light meals and cocktails from 11 a.m. through the early evening.

Hours of Operation:
11:00am to 9:00pm

Quinn's Bar - Named after an early explorer, Quinn's Bar takes you back to yesteryear.  Live music and fresh tropical drinks or your favorite cocktail are served.  On weekends Quinn's is also the place to dance to live music.

Hours of Operation:
10:00am to 11:00pm Sunday thru Thursday
1:00pm to 12:00am Friday and Saturday
