Our three-star hotel, the Steinenschanze Basel, is in the heart of the city: just three minutes from the station (Bahnhof SBB) by taxi or ten minutes on foot. It will take you five to twelve minutes to walk to the main shopping street, the principal theatres and museums. Basel's exhibition centre (Messe) and the German station (Badischer Bahnhof) are just 15 minutes away by public transport. If you are coming by plane and landing at the Euro Airport, a number 30 bus will bring you right to our door in about 20 minutes.
