HOTEL FACILITIES & SERVICES: Leeds Castle was a royal palace for three centuries, and is built on two islands in the middle of a lake. Arundel Castle is the ancestral home of the Dukes of Norfolk, and the castle contains a fine collection of paintings and furniture. While in Brighton, take a look at the Sea-life Centre which specialises in British marine life and has the biggest underwater tunnel display in Europe.
Crawley is a bustling town and an ideal place to shop. The County Mall is an indoor shopping centre and a traffic-free pedestrian area, with all the major high street boutiques and chain stores. Crawley is a town with a long history: its roots can be traced back to Roman times. Some of the mediaeval buildings, still standing in the High Street, were used as halfway coaching stops between London and the south coast of England. This tradition continues every November, when contestants enter the London to Brighton Veteran Car rally.
