There are three main arabic languages and three english languages newspapers available in Dubai, namely Albayan, Alkhaleej, Alittihad, the Gulf News, Gulf Today and Khaleej Times.
These newspapers provide full coverage of events within the UAE and devote many pages to international news. Most international newspapers and magazines are available in Dubai. All publications entering Dubai are checked by the Censor board to ensure they do not offend public decency. |

| Dubai has one Arabic and one English language television channel. Channel 33 broadcasts many American and English programs. Many people prefer to watch satellite television. It also has two Arabic and one English radio channels. |
