In 1995, the population of the UAE reached 2.4 million while in 2000 the population was estimated at 3.1 million.
The population of Dubai in 1995 stood at 689,000 the majority of whom live in Dubai’s city and suburbs with a small percentage residing in some villages and agricultural areas, while in 2000 the population of Dubai was approximately 862,000. |
